Yeah =3 me in the US with my is the most awesome and best time ever!

OKays, lately Iam thinking about the entertainment through computer games.

Thinking about how less inovative they are. Hmm oh well their Graphics are freakin awesome, but... storywise...naah.

Of course they are a few exceptions, like the good old HL² and Portal, who brought something "new" into the gaming world.

But then you have games like Call of Duty 4 , and dont get me wrong it is still an awesome game when it comes to the story thats nicely told, BUT for me it wasnt anymore different than the other COD's b4. They all did tell a nice story of different soldiers, but they didnt brough anything new gameplay wise. Same goes to Halo3 or Resistance on PS3.

I havent played Havenly Sword yet and I still want to know how its like, so whoever can tell me something about it, go ahead.

For me personaly iam waiting for the BIG NEW THING, that will renew the world of computer games.

I grew up with some very cool inventions regarding console and pc games.

Like DukeNukem 3d, which wasnt very new like 14 years ago, but it was a shooter with lots of comedy in it and very cool ideas.
Then there is the first Command&Conquer Tiberium Conflict based on DOS 4.0, wow that just blew my mind, it was an awesome game and after Dune 2 a real cool RTS.
Syndicate Wars, who ever played this game in this world will know what iam talking about, this game had such a cool setting with cyborgs, complete generated 3d cities and they where completly destroyable.
The german Schleichfahrt (Archimedean Dynasty) was an awesome underwater game where umanity was forced to live in gigantic cities deep underwater, just look it up on youtube its kind of too long to describe.

Well, my point is, it feels that most of the games nowadays are not inovative anymore. I guess since it costs way more to produce them today they try to address a whider spectrum of people that play them to get more money in. But they dont produce them for the nerds under us anymore.

I just want to know your opinion about it, and tell me about the most awesome game you ever played, and which you think was totaly inovative and completely new.
